About this poster
The Cure is the most important band to me. Perfect in every way. They have been a crucial part of my life since the first time I heard Robert Smith. As a kid, I was mesmerized by the strangest-looking man I had ever seen, who was paired with the most ordinary name. So fitting for a band that gives us such vastly different anthems like 'Prayers for Rain' and 'Friday I'm in Love'. They've seen me through tragedy and life-changing happiness. What more could you ask for?
For this piece, I wanted to show that marvelous split.
Chicago holds a special place in my heart. I've hidden many references in this poster. I have left out Malört, tho. I find that's always best.
