About this poster
I often want to put extra time into doing extensive inkwork on my posters, but I can't make it happen due to time constraints or budgets. Inspired by the masterful ink work of fellow poster artists Ken Taylor and Aaron Horkey, this time, I went that extra mile and did a piece I am extremely happy with.
This poster honors my dear friend, Lakota artist, and all-around great human, Walt Pourier, director of the Stronghold Society. He is doing great work with Native Youth in Denver and Pine Ridge.
