About this poster
I’ve been a big fan of the band for some time now, so it was a great privilege to be asked to create an illustration for their 2023 spring shows. Inspired by Castlevania, Berserk, and details derived from various Polyphia albums as well as the band's eclectic and intricate musical style. The angelic devil hybrid figure adorned with florals and skulls interwoven with overgrown thorns symbolize elegance, darkness and beautiful decay, comprising a loose memento mori composition which further expresses the contrasts embodied by the band's uniquely virtuosic sound. - MT
