"I'm really excited to be a part of Gallery 1988's 8 year anniversary show, MEMES, a celebration of the Internet's best inside jokes. The show opens this Friday, May 4th at the Melrose location (7020 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles 90038).

Originally, I wanted to create a piece with the creators, Graydon Sheppard and Kyle Humphrey. However, the original video inspired dozens of parodies so I wanted to create my own unique spin-off. "Shit Golden Girls Say was born". I had been forever searching for the right platform to pay tribute to my favorite show and Gallery 1988's Memes exhibit was the perfect stage to bring the characters of Dorothy, Sophia, Blanche and Rose back to life.
All the quotes you see here are taken from various episodes of The Golden Girls. Even after 20 years, the girls are just as funny.
The print is 18" x 24" and is silk screened in 2 colours: Black and Gold."
