About this poster
The concept focuses on our two leads, their comradery, setting up their sting with nods to their stage/set so to speak.
The variant is inspired by the late great J.C. Leyendecker and by the original artwork for the movie by the late Richard Amsel who took inspiration from Leyendecker's double black lines seen on his The Saturday Evening Post covers.
Jeff Barge has also created a old vintage paper effect, almost tea stained to give that look that you might expect from artwork / paper from the 1930's. The photography makes it look off white due to camera white balance but irl it's got the same yellow stained effect as the digital jpg so quite different to the regulars off white.
This version is a giclee so the artwork is before any form of separations, it is printed on Platinum Etching paper.
