About this poster
Zoltron and Roger designed the TRPS print using Roger’s iconic painting from The 'Magnetic Storm' Book cover. The color alchemists at @SepLab did incredible work on the separations, pairing the painting down to 11 colors and @MonolithPress did a stellar job on the printing as usual.
There will be two signed & numbered editions. The main edition is an 11 color screen print with an edition of 111, printed on a brilliant white cotton rag.
The foil edition is an edition of 55. We wanted this variant to be intentionally different and since stacking so many colors creates an opaque palette, we removed the yellow plate all together and added a white barrier coat underneath the dragon. This added a translucence to the background, and gave the dragon some extra punch. The foil shines through the landscape and it is super dramatic in person.
