"I wanted to put a play on how loggers in the region used to float their Lumber down river as giant rafts, and create an alternate history where that practice led to the creation of flying ships and the first known instance of flight happening in 1902 (a year before the first takeoff in NC!). If you swipe, you can see the back of the print which features an illustration of the first recorded photo of flight (more historical photo illustrations please!!!), as well as a bit more lore about the whole thing.
