"I created this painting when I was in a spiritual funk. My spirituality has always guided my art but lately, it has felt harder to come by. I think we're living in a very unique time of extreme duality where we have to usher in the death of what we have been taught as the truth and also celebrate the enlightenment of the new world unfolding. It's painful, it's exhausting and it can leave us with a confusing assortment of feelings. We've been called to hold both realities as true and the duality of life has never felt so apparent. I think it's in these moments that our spirituality is questioned- we must be aware of where our energy is most needed and more importantly, what we need to let go of so we can continue to grow." - James R. This timed edition includes 3 screenprinted layers on top of the giclee print: green glitter in the peacock feathers, teal glitter in the sky and blue glitter in the peacock feathers, and then metallic gold across the print.
