About this poster
"The concept for the artwork is inspired by Pearl Jam’s Dance of the Clairvoyants. In their music video we see Ed painting a canvas of the universe, as if he is saying - let me paint a picture for you. Then we see Earth and all things that make an impact on our ecosystem. Bees, flora and fauna, thunderous skies and raging seas. “Expecting perfection leaves a lot to ignore. When the past is the present and the future is no more. When every tomorrow is the same as before.”
I decided to paint a London telephone box containing the universe signifying our need for that wake up call. There is a hidden guitar in the scenery of Hyde Park using the Serpentine bridge as the neck of the guitar. A few symbolic elements such as the rose, our national flower which is present in Kensington Garden inside Hyde Park. Swans in England are also property of the Queen and are protected." - BG
