About this poster
It was also the first Family Dog poster printed using colors. This oversized handbill was printed on newspaper-thin paper. Hence the rippling on the outside edges and margins. It was mechanically creased, folded in half, and inserted into Volume 9 Number 1 of CA Magazine: The Journal of Communication Art from 1967. The “Wes Wilson – 4 – 66” credit is tiny in the top right corner inside the blue. There is no printer’s credit. It measures 11 3/4 x 15 9/16” (trimmed to 15 1/4”).
