About this poster
This whimsical and psychedelic poster was created for the 2015 Festival of Rock Posters at the Hall of Flowers in San Francisco, benefiting the TRPS Artist Relief Trust.
The design features a surreal tree-like structure with eyes as its central motif. The tree's branches are populated with small flying eyeball creatures with wings, while its base forms a face in the trunk.
Two eyeball-headed characters stand at the base of the tree - one wearing a bucket hat and holding a marker and an apple, the other sporting a mushroom cap with one hand in their pocket while painting with a paintbrush. The scene is set in a grassy field dotted with red and white mushrooms and pink flowers. Additional eye-adorned creatures play musical instruments in the foreground.
The artwork combines elements of classic concert poster art with a modern psychedelic twist, rendered in a detailed illustrative style with a vibrant yellow background.
