"Their current tour is sort of a tribute to Rush, and they’re playing the Rush album Farewell to Kings, so I wanted to do something along those lines. I thought it would be cool to include a bit of the sci-fi feel Rush liked to use in their lyrics, and of course bring in some of the more obvious royalty/castle connection, so here’s a floating rocket space castle! Or something like that. You may remember, I sort of created a version of this concept a couple years ago for one of the tshirts being sold on this tour too (before it was rescheduled), and I always liked that and wanted to take it further on a poster.
