About this poster
When I started working on this poster for @lizzobeeating in 2019 I didn’t know much about her aside from the couple of songs I’d been hearing on the radio and her reputation for having a body-positive/self-positive message. I was reading bios and articles online when I came across an album review from @pitchfork Magazine. Overall, it was NOT a very positive review of her record, but the very last line of the review sparked an idea that lead to the microphone/butterfly concept. This is a piece I often use if I’m talking to design students because I think it’s a good example of simple conceptual design and never knowing when or where inspiration may strike!
