About this poster

This striking concert poster by Jeff Soto for Phish's show at CMAC in Canandaigua, NY on July 15th, 2014, features a surreal robotic creature in Soto's signature style. The central figure is a mechanical, pod-like entity with tentacle-like appendages, housing what appears to be a terrarium or contained ecosystem under a dome.


Inside the dome, a square-headed character presides over a collection of whimsical and slightly dark elements including skulls, owls, and flowering plants in magenta hues.
