“The Sky High pop up gallery was a super cool little temporary shop run by the amazing Faythe Levine, (who was interviewed on AID not too long ago,) and it was her idea to do a sort of junk shop image, and of course I leapt at the chance because I love drawing imagined rooms crammed full of items from my mind: I find it very soothing. This particular drawing was made towards the beginning of a new and very exciting relationship, and so a lot of the objects in the room are direct and very specific references to previous romances, possibly as a way to clear them from my subconscious and start fresh. And that's all I'm going to say about that!” - JS
The artist later released All Sorts, an art print featuring a similar design.
