About this poster
"To be asked to contribute to this year's Phish Halloween run in Las Vegas was a joy. I don't think I've ever worked harder on a poster project. The final screen print feels more like a painting than a poster in part because of the mastery of a print house in Michigan known as "End Hymns". True masters they are.
As serendipity would have it my tangential work leading up to the Phish project had a Sci-Fi world building aspect to it and as it turned out the bands "Halloween Costume" was a Sci-Fi comic book hero concept. I love when the ethos seems like a shared space.
It's my interpretation of the Las Vegas strip in costume as a giant deranged slot machine." - DW
